5:30pm – 6:30pm
Hands-on STEM activities for families. Engineering, math, technology, and science stations. Complete at least one station and receive a special STEM at home kit. Runs before Movie Night the same evening. Free entry.
Also featuring our first Kindness Project of the school year. At some point during the evening, families will make dog toys together to donate to the Brandywine Valley SPCA.
If you would like to bring a donation as well, here is the shelter wish list.
For the pups: heavy duty dog toys, food puzzles, no-pull harnesses (Freedom Harness, Balance Harness, EZ Walk in M, L, XL), martingale collars (3/4 inch or 1 inch, M or L), training clickers with a wrist strap, travel pet carriers (S, M, L), wet dog food, Kongs in all sizes, e-collars, frisbees, carabiners, peanut butter (smooth, nothing with xylitol), and towels and blankets. Washed, gently used towels and blankets are great, but no knitted or crocheted items, down comforters, used dog beds, or pillows please.
For the kittens: cat scratchers from stretchandscratch.com, cat toys, food puzzles, laser pointers, cat litter (clumping and unscented), standard size litter boxes, and small throw blankets.
For their fosters: KMR powder, pet nursing bottles, dry and wet kitten food (no color added), heating pads (Snuggle Safes), X-Pens, and pureed baby food (chicken and gravy only).
